PPA 211: The Open Sea

Hi my fellow stampers!!!  I love this weeks color palate!!  I instantly thought nautical and jumped right with one of my favorite stamp sets,  The Open Sea.   I also decided to have a little fun with you with my cover on the card.  I found one last card from the Simply Sent Note Card set and decided that would make a fabulous design for the top.  Here's my card below:

Before I go, I would like to leave you with a picture from Nags Head, NC.  The picture is the sunrise just after Hurricane Arther hit the North Carolina Coast.

My sister and her family road out the storm.  Nags Head did not have mandatory evacuation.  However, the winds were still up to 101mph.  I told her I was too old for her to have her sister worry like this again.  Ughummm....

Thank you for visiting my blog today!!  I love to see your comments!!
Let me know what you think!
As always, if you have any questions,
I'm just an email away.

Have a fabulous weekend!!!

This is very nice! Love the panel and your little button & anchor! Sweet! I have the same "sister-worry" problem! Mine lives right on the coast near Charleston....I am always worried about her when a storm comes!

Love this card, that top layer was indeed perfect! I think SU should give us this as a framelit.

Nice job Amy! I really like how you pulled off the nautical theme with just that dash of Daffodil Delight - delightful!
