Halloween with the Dynamic duos!!

Today's card is my one and only Witches slipper!!  The Dynamic duos is having a fantastic challenge this week with Tangerine Tango and Basic Black.  With those two colors you know you have to do the dessert option of Halloween!!!  What fun!!!  Here's my card I did for the challenge:

I have always wanted to try to make this witches shoe.  Having not planned ahead, I didn't go out and find a die to make this job a lot easier!!
Instead, I had paper and a pencil.   What do you think?
I have to admit, this took much longer than I thought!!  LOL!!  I intended to make several of these gems for my friends and family.  Well.....I got one done!!  It took me two hours of fussing!!!  Eeeek!!!  Maybe now that I have figured out the details, it won't take me so long next time.
The card base is Basic Black for the shoe.  The upper part of the shoe is retired
SU Halloween DSP that has both orange and black in the pattern.
For the tongue of the shoe, I used Tangerine Tango and ran this through with the Scallop Circle die.  Then I added black brads to represent the buttons.
Last, I fussy cut the spider from the now retired SU Dark and Dreary stamp set.

I love to see your comments!!  Stay tuned more Halloween fun!!
