Stampin' Pretty " A Card for Dad"

This week I'm featured as a guest on Mary's Fish's blog Stampin' Pretty!!
I'm so excited to be featured as her guest again!!!
Since Fathers Day is coming upon us fast; I decided to do a "Card for Dad".  There are just so many cool sets to choose out of our Stampin' Up catalog!!!  Anyway, I decided finally on "By the Tide" stamp set  from our new
2013-2014 Annual Catalog.
I absolutely love this set for masculine cards!!!!
Here's my creation below!!

....and a picture of the inside.

I began my card with Soft Suede, Island Indigo and Crumb Cake.  The Island Indigo I thought would be a fun twist on typical colors and add some interest to the card.  In addition, I used Calypso Coral marker for the reef and the same color for the fish with a touch of Island Indigo and Soft Suede markers.  All were blended in with a Versa Mark pen.  The background used the Fancy Fan Fold that to me resembles seashells.  I then fussy cut the fish, the coral and the shell.  I felt the card needed depth, so I positioned the fish and coral with
Stampin' Up Dimensional's.   So much fun!!!

As always, I love to see your comments!!  There's a complete list of the supplies I used below.  Please feel free to email me any questions.

Have a wonderful week!!!!!

Amy

Great card! I especially love the stamped envelope flap! Looks really good with the fish. I have stamped the address side of the envelope. Why have I never thought to stamp the flap?! I will now!
