Spring is in the Air!!!

Hi everyone!!!  What a beautiful spring day here in San Antonio!!!  This is why we live here Texas for days like this!!!  Now don't be askin' me why I live in Texas when it's July and 110 degrees!!!!  LOL!!!  However, today it's beautiful!!!
This week at Pals Paper Arts and the Paper Players, Spring is in the air!!!  Pals Paper Arts has a "Color Challenge" with some fun Spring colors; Lucky Limeade, Always Artichoke and then a splash of color.   The Paper Players Theme Challenge is "Spring Has Sprung".
Here is my card:

I love the window die!!  I remember as a child riding in the back seat of my grandparents car as we drove from one place to another.  I would peer at these lovely homes with a lamp sitting just inside the house.  There would be a wonderful little glow that would reflect off the shrub or trees near the window.  As we drove by, I would day dream about another grandpa or grandma sitting in the chair and reading their book with a little dog or cat sitting on the floor.  Those were the days......  Anyway, this little lamp sitting inside the window reminds me of those days when my own grandparents were around.  Enjoy!!

Bazinga! THAT was what you were fussy cutting? You officially win the prize for cutting out the most detailed image ever....while maintaining your composure quite gracefully! Lol! Love the scene you created. The dimension is so beautiful! Thanks do much for joining us this week at the Paper Players! Hugs! :)

Amy, what a fabulous card. You also reminded me that I need to change the wreath on my door. I love driving around at night and seeing the lights on in people's homes, the little lamps near the window always conjour up images of happy families! So glad you joined the Paper Players this week

My favorite time of day to drive around is at dusk when a warm glow emanates from so many houses. It's a magical time of day and you've captured it here beautifully. Anne Marie is right, you win the prize for fabulous fussy-cutting this week! Gorgeous...so glad you joined us at The Paper Players!
