PPA 223: ThanK You My Friend!!

Displaying 10-9.png

Here there my fellow stampers!!!  We have another fabulous week here for our design team!!  Can you believe it's almost time for Halloween?  I can't!!  It still feels like summer here in South Texas.  I'm drinking Pumpkin Spice Latte's and it's 94 degrees!!  Something is wrong with this picture people!!!  Anyway, I was going to jump right in and do a Halloween card with these colors.  However, I forced myself to go outside my comfort zone and try something different.
What do you think?

I was inspired by a visit with my dear friend Mary from Annapolis, MD.  Regardless of what's going on in our lives, our friendship is solid, supportive, fun and comforting.  I know I can reach out to her about anything anywhere.   Thank you my friend!!!  So, give your best friends out there a hug and maybe a card to say thank you for just being you.  You know they are priceless!!

Today's card I used the stamp set Feels Good and Bordering Blooms.  To add a pop of color I used the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack to make the little flowers.  On the image I used black embossing powder to really get a bold image of the lettering.  Clean, simple and oh so special for my dear friend.

Thank you for visiting my blog today!!  I love to see your comments!!
Let me know what you think!
As always, if you have any questions,
I'm just an email away.

Have a fabulous weekend!!!

This is gorgeous, Amy! I tried so hard to make a non-Halloween card with this combo and gave up. You rocked it!

Love the card, Amy. All the colors without a hint if Halloween! And the 3D flowers are such a great touch!
