Flowers for My Friend

What fun this card was to make!!  I made this card initially for the Paper Players Color Challenge and then decided it would be perfect for Our Creative Corner Theme challenge too.  I simply added my tag and we were set!!

This week, The Paper Players have an exciting "Color Combination" to share.  They are asking for you to pair the warmth and brightness of Poppy Parade with the icy coolness of Pool Party...plus add two neutrals, Soft Suede and Very Vanilla.  What fun I had putting this together.  Initially, I wanted to run, but then I decided to just dive in and see what happens.  Absolutely LOVE it!!!

At Our Creative Corner; "Best Friend" is the title and theme.  Make a paper craft item (card, scrapbook page or a 3-D item) for a Best Friend!  The only other requirement, is to include a flower!  The flower can be hand-made, an embellishment, or a stamp.  I decided to make a card that reminds me of my best friend in Annapolis, MD.  This is what I made below for both challenges.
Thanks for stopping by today! Please pop by and visit the rest of the Paper Players and Our Creative Corner Design Teams to view some fantastic creative inspiration.  I hope you have a chance to join them this week. The challenge ends Friday, February 17th at Noon.
