Oh Happy Day!!!!!

Happy Saturday everyone!!!  I don't know about you, but I'm so glad it's the weekend!!  What do you have planned?  I'm going to spend time enjoying my craft room by working on cards for friends and trying a few new recipes out.  I love to cook, but with working full time; I feel like I get in a rut.  I come home and my husband is usually fixing a box of rice with some egg rolls or frozen chicken tenders.  Ugh!!!  So either I don't eat or succumb to the fast food.  Anyway, I want to not only eat healthier, but enjoy making and savoring what I eat.  I think if I plan my week out more carefully, I'll have tome to actually fix a enjoyable quick meal with a little variety.  Sounds good doesn't it?  LOL!!!  Those are my projects this weekend!!

Anyway, today I thought I would inspire you with a clean and simple card.  This is a quick and easy card to give to someone.    Just because.....

Here's my card below:

What do you think?
Here's a list of tools I used in the projects below.  The prices on the stamp sets are for wood mount.  Both are available in clear.  I definitely recommend wood for stamps that have mostly phrases.

Thank you for visiting my blog!!  I love to see your comments!!  Let me know what you think!  As always, if you have any questions, I'm just an email away.  I'm happy to help in anyway!!

Have a fabulous weekend!!!

PPA #189 - Pretty in Pink!!

Hello there!! Wow!!!  It's been awhile hasn't?  I hope you all are off to a great start in 2014!!  It's been a busy start of the year!!!  This week Nicole has offered up another fabulous sketch.  Today, I wanted to keep up the Valentine theme. I pulled out the absolute luscious Strawberry Slush DSP Stack, Blushing Bride and Whisper White card stock.

Here's my card below:

I simply couldn't resist!!  I had to pull out "Hearts A Flutter" with the "Hearts A Flutter Framelits" to cut out the hearts again.  The small hearts, I used the "Small Heart Punch."  I wanted the hearts to look like a box of chocolates you get at the candy shop.  I took the Strawberry Slush 3/8 Ruffle Stretch Trim Ribbon and wrapped it around the hearts very carefully.  Viola!!  A box of chocolates!!  Of course, I added a few pearls for good measure.  The card measures 5 1/4 by 5 1/4.

Now for this weeks Just A Thought.......

Thank you for visiting my blog!!  I love to see your comments!!  Let me know what you think!  As always, if you have any questions, I'm just an email away.  I'm happy to help in anyway!! Last, I have had several people order from my blog over the past few months.   Stampin' Up has a new way for customers to order by opting out of any contact from a demonstrator.  While I respect your choice very much to remain anonymous;  I'm unable to send personal thank you notes to you.  So, I want to thank all of you sincerely who ordered over the past few months.  I sincerely appreciate your business!!  Remember to stop back by next week for another PPA challenge with Team 1!!!!

Have a fabulous weekend!!!

PPA 187 - "Hearts A Flutter"

Happy New Year!!!

Can you believe Christmas is past, New Years came and went and now Valentines day is upon us?  Whoa!!!  Where are the days going?  It's time for another Pals Paper Arts challenge with these fabulous colors of Real Red, Soft Sky and Whisper White.  What fun!!!  Anyway, with Valentines Day just ahead, I thought I would inspire you with a cute card for the upcoming occasion.

Here's my card below:

For this card, I used "Gorgeous Grunge" and "Hearts A Flutter".  Who new they were a match made in heaven?  I guess opposites do attract!!!  LOL!!!  I used the "Hearts A Flutter Framelits" to cut out the banners and the larger hearts.  The small hearts on the banner, I used the "Small Heart Punch."  The card measures 4 1/4 by 5 1/2.

Thank you for visiting my blog!!  I love to see your comments!!  Let me know what you think!  As always, if you have any questions, I'm just an email away.  I'm happy to help in anyway!!  Remember to stop back by next week for another PPA challenge with Team 1!!!!
